My vehicle has been impacted. What should I do?

Where do I get my claim number?
Claim numbers are issued by your insurance provider at the time you report your accident. Provide the number to one of our representatives before the time of repair, and they will handle the rest.
Are you open on Saturday?
Unfortunately, we are not open on Saturday. Our normal business hours run Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
Will the parts be ordered before I drop my vehicle off for repair?
We generally order the parts once the estimate is approved by your insurance provider, or whomever is paying the claim.
If my vehicle’s frame is damaged, is it a total loss?
A car is only a total loss if the price of the repairs exceed the insurance provider’s determined value of the vehicle. Our highly trained technicians, with the aid of our state-of the-art computer measuring system, can return your vehicle to its original factory specifications. Even if it is determined that the frame section is bent beyond repair, this section may be replaced as well.
Can you match the paint color?
Global Impact Solutions has made a major investment in the finest available computer-assisted paint matching system. We constantly upgrade its technology and equipment to ensure that each vehicle’s paint matches correctly. We take special pride in our ability to match factory finishes as the final step in the restoration process.
Can I get other service work done on my vehicle while in for repair at global impact solutions?
Absolutely! Just let our representatives know what other work you need done, so they can make the necessary repair arrangements.
How long will the repairs to my vehicle take?
Each repair will vary based on the amount of damage to the vehicle. Our representatives can provide clients an estimate of the repair's completion at the time of vehicle drop off, and throughout the repair process via call, text, or email- whichever is most convenient.
Is there shuttle service when I drop off my car?
Yes. We would be happy to provide shuttle service, as well as pickup & delivery, to all customers within Metro Detroit.
How can I get a rental car?
First, check your insurance policy and/or call your insurance provider to find out if rental coverage is available, or what any specific limitations may be. If you do need a rental car, we can help make the necessary arrangements for youthrough one of our local rental partnerships.
How will I know when my car is done?
You will be notified by phone call, text message, or email when your repair is complete. If you have any questions or concerns during your repair, please feel free to contact Global Impact Solutions for a vehicle update.
Is there a warranty on the repairs to my vehicle?
Warranties may be available on certain repairs. Please see Body Shop manager for specific details and restrictions.
Do I have to pay a deductible?
Each client is responsible for paying the amount that is determined by your insurance policy. If you aren’t sure what your deductible is, speak with our staff to help determine what your insurance policy requires of you.
What forms of payment do you accept?
The easiest and most convenient way to pay for your vehicle repair is to endorse your insurance claim check and submit it to Global Impact Solutions. Credit cards, such as VISA, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express, cash, or checks are also accepted.
What are betterment charges?
Parts that wear out and need replacement with time and use (i.e., tires, batteries, and suspension parts) are commonly subject to betterment charges when they need to be replaced during the repair process. These betterment charges are determined by your insurance provider and are pro-rated based on the actual amount of miles on your vehicle.
