Where do I get my claim number?
Claim numbers are issued by your insurance provider at the time you report your accident. Provide the number to one of our technicians at the time of repair, and Global Impact Solutions will handle the rest.
Are you open on Saturday?
No, we are not open on Saturday. Our business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
Will the parts be ordered before I drop my vehicle off for repair?
We generally order the parts once the estimate is approved by your insurance provider, or whomever is paying the claim, and then we will schedule your vehicle drop off for a few days later. If your vehicle is found unsafe to drive, we will help arrange a rental vehicle as soon as possible.
If my vehicle’s frame is damaged, is it a total loss?
A car is only a total loss if the price of the repairs exceed the insurance provider’s determined value of the vehicle. Our highly trained technicians, with the aid of our state-of the-art computer measuring system, can return your vehicle to its original factory specifications. Even if it is determined that the frame section is bent beyond repair, this section can be replaced as well.
Can you match the paint color?
Today’s modern factory finish incorporates multiple layers of highly specialized paint. We have made a major investment in the finest available paint system, and constantly upgrade its technology and equipment to ensure that each vehicle’s paint matches correctly. Is there shuttle service when I drop off my car?
Yes, we would be happy to provide a pick up and delivery service to all customers in the Metro Detroit area.
How can I get a rental car?
First, you can check on your insurance policy and/or call your insurance provider to find out if rental coverage is available, or what the specific limitations are. If you do need a rental car, we can help make the necessary arrangements for you.
How will I know when my car is done?

Is there a warranty on the repairs to my vehicle?

Do I have to pay a deductible?
The amount of deductible that you are responsible to pay is determined by your insurance policy. If you aren’t sure about your deductible, you can speak with your technician and they will help you determine if your insurance provider has waived the deductible.
What forms of payment do you accept?
The easiest and most convenient way to pay for your portion of repairs to your vehicle is to endorse your insurance claim check and submit it to Global Impact Solutions. Credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, Discover, American Express), cash, or checks are all accepted.
What are betterment charges?
Parts that wear out and need replacement with time and use (i.e., tires, batteries, and suspension parts) are commonly subject to betterment charges when they need to be replaced during the repair process. These betterment charges are determined by your insurance provider and are pro-rated based on actual miles on your vehicle.
