My vehicle has been impacted. What should I do?
Providing no one is injured, your first call is to call Global Impact Solutions at (248) 284-7900. Global Impact Solutions will evaluate the damage with a free repair estimate and provide further assistance. Whether it needs to be towed, you need a rental car, or help contacting your insurance provider, we will help make the arrangements.
Where do I get my claim number?
Claim numbers are issued by your insurance provider at the time you report an accident. Provide the number to one of our representatives before the time of repair, and we will handle the rest.
Are you open on Saturday?
Unfortunately, we are not open on Saturday. Our normal business hours run Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
Will the parts be ordered before I drop my vehicle off for repair?
We generally order the parts once the estimate is approved by your insurance provider, or whomever is paying the claim.
If my vehicle frame is damaged, is it a total loss?
A car is only a total loss if the cost of the repair exceeds the insurance provider’s determined value of the vehicle. Please contact our collision shop for further details on how your frame could still be repaired.
Can you match the paint color?
Absolutely! Global Impact Solutions has made a major investment in the finest available computer-assisted paint matching system. Our upgraded technology and equipment is utilized to ensure each paint is matched correctly. We take special pride in our ability to match factory finishes as the final step in the restoration process.
Can I get other service work done on my vehicle while in for repair at global impact solutions?
Yes! Just let our representatives know what other work you need done, so we can complete the necessary repairs.
How long will my repair take?
Each repair time will vary based on the amount of damage to the vehicle. Our representatives can provide clients an estimate of the repair's completion at the time of vehicle drop off, as well as provide updates throughout the repair process via call, text, or email.
Is there shuttle service whILE I AM WAITING FOR MY REPAIR TO BE COMPLETED?
Yes. We would be happy to provide a courtesy shuttle service, as well as pickup & delivery, to all customers within Metro Detroit.
How can I get a rental car?
First, you will need to check your insurance policy and/or call your insurance provider to find out if rental coverage is available, or what any specific limitations may be. If you do need a rental car, we can help make the necessary arrangements for you through one of our local rental partnerships. Loaner cars may also be available to our customers. How will I know when my car is done?
You will be notified by phone call, text message, or email when your repair is complete. If you have any questions or concerns during your repair, please feel free to contact Global Impact Solutions for a vehicle update. Delivery of your vehicle may also be available. Is there warranty coverage on my repair?
Warranties may be available on certain repairs. Please see our Body Shop Manager for specific details and restrictions.
Do I have to pay a deductible?
Each client is responsible for paying the amount that is determined by your insurance policy. If you aren’t sure what your deductible is, speak with one of our representatives to help determine what your insurance policy requires of you.
What forms of payment do you accept?
The easiest and most convenient way to pay for your vehicle repair is to endorse your insurance claim check and submit it to Global Impact Solutions representative. Credit cards, such as VISA, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express, cash, or checks are also accepted.
What are betterment charges?
Parts that wear out and need replacement with time and use (i.e., tires, batteries, and suspension parts) are commonly subject to betterment charges when they need to be replaced during the repair process. These betterment charges are determined by your insurance provider and are pro-rated based on the actual amount of miles on your vehicle.
